Terms of Service

§ 1 Scope

These Terms of Service govern the use of the "Revolverdoor" platform (hereinafter "Platform"). By registering, the user accepts these terms in full.

§ 2 Registration and Minimum Age

Use of the Platform requires registration. Users must be at least 16 years old. For users under 18, consent from a legal guardian is required.

§ 3 Service Description

Revolverdoor is an interactive storytelling platform combining AI-powered story creation with a revolving door mechanism (four exits: Past, Future, Dream, Reality). The platform offers various subscription tiers (Free, Dreamer, Storyteller, Architect) with different feature sets.

§ 4 Content Rights

Users retain copyright over their inputs (avatar descriptions, answers). By using the Platform, users grant Revolverdoor a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to publish, promote, and include created stories in book editions on the Platform.

AI-generated content (prologues, chapters) is subject to applicable law and cannot be exclusively claimed. Revolverdoor reserves the right to publish particularly popular stories in curated collections.

§ 5 Content Guidelines

The following content is prohibited:

• Content glorifying violence, racism, or discrimination
• Sexually explicit content involving minors
• Content encouraging self-harm or suicide
• Violation of third-party personality rights
• Spam, advertising, or commercial content

Revolverdoor reserves the right to remove content without notice and to suspend accounts.

§ 6 AI Disclaimer

All stories are generated using artificial intelligence. The content does not constitute professional advice (psychological, medical, legal). Revolverdoor assumes no liability for the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of generated content.

§ 7 Fiction Clause

All stories generated on the Platform are fictional. Any resemblance to real persons, places, or events is coincidental and unintended.

§ 8 Payment Terms

Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Billing occurs monthly in advance. Cancellations are possible at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Upon downgrade, created content is preserved, but access to premium features is revoked.

§ 9 Youth Protection and Usage Time Warning

The Platform implements a usage time warning after 2 hours of continuous use. Content tagged as "Dark Mood" receives a content warning. Users under 18 have restricted access to certain content types.

§ 10 Data Protection

Processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the GDPR. Details can be found in our separate Privacy Policy.

§ 11 Limitation of Liability

Revolverdoor is only liable for damages resulting from intentional or grossly negligent conduct. Liability for slight negligence is limited to foreseeable, contract-typical damages. This does not apply to injury to life, body, or health.

§ 12 Final Provisions

The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply. The place of jurisdiction is the seat of the operator. Should any provision be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. Changes to these terms will be communicated to users in a timely manner.
